The theme for the conference is FUSION 2018. Our sessions this year will be focused on enhancing the relationships and collaboration within our communities – specifically with our young volunteers. Every year we present our delegates with some great information that can be applied to all aspects of Special Olympics programming. There will be a number of different practices related to communication, volunteerism, team collaboration, and group discussions.

We hope to continue working on creating a learning culture with all of our SOS communities as a way to optimize program development. We will be looking at how

we can move forward together and embrace our differences; as individuals, communities, and as an organization.

Our speakers, facilitators, and panelists will be sharing their personal experiences and will be bringing their vast expertise and knowledge to the conference. They will introduce new and innovative materials, ideas, and skills that can be taken back to each respective community, including the personal testimonies and expertise of our Special Guests and Keynote Speakers – Olympics Champions, Mark Tewksbury and Debbie Muir, as well as Leading Expert and Social Entrepreneur, Ilona Dougherty.
